Late Submissions
We have reopened our Junior Book Award form for late submissions. However, we can only guarantee the Tier 2 Junior Excellence Award, which is a certificate-only recognition. If you are interested, please complete the form, and we will send a PDF copy of the certificate as soon as possible.

Thank you for nominating your student for the Junior Book Award Program. The Office of Undergraduate Admission recognizes female, non-binary, genderfluid, and/or transgender-identifying high school juniors who exemplify the qualities of a Simmons University student—leadership, community service, care for family, passion for social justice, commitment to addressing climate change, and acts of kindness.

Spring 2026 nominations are open until April 10th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. E.T. Any nominations after April 10th please email Lisa Hartley, lisa.hartley@simmons.edu

The 2026 Book Award will feature Yellowface by R.F. Kuang (2024 Simmons Community Read) Please note nominations do not guarantee a book award, as limited books will be available.
