Navigating College in White Spaces

Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

For many students of color, attending a predominantly white institution is a new and challenging experience. In this session we are joined by current Simmons students of color who will be discussing their experiences in white spaces while in college, this will include the classroom and social settings. These conversations are especially important as many students of color can experience Imposter Syndrome while at predominantly white institutions. How do our students navigate this? Our current students will also be discussing the community they have been able to find on campus and how they were found.
